There are two ways to factory default the remote.

Option 1: Delete the driver from the project

  1. Wake the Halo remote from sleep and verify it’s connected to the network.

  2. Confirm the Halo is connected to the driver by checking the driver’s properties. If it’s not online, proceed to option 2.

  3. Delete the Halo driver from the project.

  4. Within 1-2 minutes, the remote’s screen displays the FTUE (First Time User Experience) QR code.

Option 2: Manual reset process

  1. Power the Halo remote off. The screen should remain off while pressing the buttons in the following steps.

  2. Press and hold the Back button, and continue holding until the end of the reset process.

  3. Press and hold the Power button until the screen powers on, then release the Power button.

  4. Wait until the screen displays the FTUE (First Time User Experience) QR code, then release the Back button.
