Step 1: Unplug the modem (from the Internet Service Provider) for 2-3 minutes. Also unplug the router for 2-3 minutes if you do not have an all-in-one modem/router.
Step 2: Plug the modem and router in. Let them power up. It takes a few minutes for both to be up and running.
Step 3: Test to see if you have connectivity by going to a website such as google.com.
Step 4: If you still do not have connectivity, call the Internet Service Provider (Comcast, Verizon, etc.) to check if there is an outage and have them test the modem.
Step 5: If there is no outage or problem with the modem determine if the devices you are having problems with are wireless, wired or both.
If still having network connectivity problems after these steps call us so you can provide us with all the information. This way we can further troubleshoot the issue.
