SUNSETTING OF OS2 CLOUD SERVICES

On November 1, 2026, we will sunset cloud-services for Control4 systems operating on OS2.X which will conclude all OS2 cloud services including 4Sight functionality, voice integration, and remote access.

To ensure the end-of-service does not impact active 4Sight subscriptions, on October 31, 2025, 4Sight auto-renewals will be disabled for OS2 Customers and 4Sight licenses will no longer be applied to OS2 accountsYour customers' 4Sight subscriptions will begin expiring after that date and will need to be updated to OS3 or X4 to retain their cloud services.

IMPORTANT DATES

August 12, 2025: Stacked 4Sight licenses can no longer be applied to OS2.

September 9, 2025: Email communication to OS2 Customers providing 13 months of advanced notice.

October 31, 2025: 4Sight licenses can no longer be applied nor renewed for OS2 Customers.

HOW ARE MY OS2 CUSTOMERS IMPACTED

OS2 Customers without 4Sight: System functionality, local control, and automation will continue to work as expected, using local interfaces like keypads, remotes, or touch screens. Integrators will lose the ability to connect remotely with Composer Pro and Composer Express for support and to provide updates beginning November 1, 2026.

OS2 Customers with 4SightSystem functionality, local control, and automation will continue to work as expected using local interfaces like keypads, remotes, or touch screens. However, upon the expiration of their 4Sight subscription, remote access, Intercom Anywhere, voice assistant integration, or any other cloud-dependent functionality, will need to update to OS3 or X4.
